Note: Retinol Serum may be introduced once the skin is comfortable with daily application of moderate to high concentrations of vitamin A.

To start: Pre-cleanse, cleanse and tone with your preferred products.

MIXED APPLICATION

Introduce Retinol Serum Forte by adding 1/2-1 pump of the serum to your Environ vitamin A moisturiser, 2-3 evenings per week.

Once tolerated: Gradually increase the amount of serum until one full pump can be used. Gradually increase the frequency of application until it can be used every evening.

LAYERED APPLICATION

Apply Retinol Serum to the full face* before using the appropriate vitamin A moisturizer. *as a single layer once a mixed application is tolerated.

Reduce to alternate days if any dryness and/or redness is experienced.

Use a minimum of one bottle of Retinol Serum before stepping up to Retinol Serum Forte. Reduce application to alternate days if any signs of a retinoid reaction is experienced.

Warning: The skin may feel uncomfortable when first using Retinol and this transient irritation of the skin may reoccur during each step-up in the regime. If an irritation (dry skin with a rash) should develop, reduce the frequency of use until the skin becomes comfortable.
